Central Ajax are delighted to announce a partnership with Warwickshire's largest coaching company, Onside Coaching. The agreement will see the company who currently operate throughout over 40 schools in Warwickshire, running the club's Saturday morning football offering.

The Ajax Academy kicks off at Ajax Park on the 9th September and will offer football on a Saturday morning for both boys and girls from age 4 to 11. Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 sessions will take place between 9:00-10:00am and sessions for Years 3-6 will take place between 10:00 and 11:30am.

This agreement is another key part of the clubs bright plans for the future. The committee have added the following statement:

'This is a pivotal moment for the club in its mission to once again become the biggest club in the local area. We have some of the best facilities around and we now have a young and vibrant committee with big plans for the future. To grow the club we wanted to make improvements at either end of a player's pathway with Central Ajax. We have improved the status of our First Team, who are playing in the Midland Football League for the first time in over 12 years. This deal now ensures we can attract enthusiastic young players from the local community who deserve the opportunity to play for such a fantastic club, with fantastic facilities. Onside are a brilliant organisation who's success is based on quality coaching, in a safe environment - this absolutely matches our ethos as a club. We're also delighted to welcome back Tom Sidwell and Richard Butler who represented the club for years and have Ajax in their blood.'

“We are delighted to have been asked to work alongside Central Ajax FC. It is a club that we played for as children for over 10 years and it is also the club that my Father, Pete Sidwell, and Richard's Father, Peter Butler, helped run and manage for a large part of that time.

To be asked to be involved again was an easy decision for us. Onside are aiming to develop opportunities for primary aged children to enjoy access to good quality local football though the Central Ajax Academy. Drawing on our experience of delivering PE in schools we will also be assisting in both safeguarding and child development.

The future is an exciting one, and we are looking forward to working and sharing ideas with the new committee, who are serious about doing things in the correct manor to the welfare of the children but also to put Central Ajax FC back at the top of the footballing map.”
