We are so excited to be hosting the tournament again and really looking forward to some great football and enjoyment from all the players. So make sure you register asap as it will be on a first come first served basis. Participation medals will be awarded for all players in under 7 & 8’s tournaments.

Saturday 11th – Under 7, Under 8, Under 11 and Under 12
Sunday 12th – Under 9, Under 10, Under 13 and Under 14

The CAFC tournament is always oversubscribed and having not been possible for the last 2 years, we expect demand will be even greater so don’t delay and get your entry forms in today!

6-SIDE teams with maximum of 10 players per team
12 minute games
Rolling substitutes
Players can only play for one team within an age group
Captains will toss to decide kick off / choice of ends
Unless stated otherwise normal mini soccer rules apply
U7 – U9 goalkeeper’s may drop kick ball from their hands
U10 – U13 goalkeeper’s cannot drop kick the ball from their hands and must throw or roll the ball
Goal kicks must be taken from the base line
U7’s – U8’s will play the ‘Retreat Line’ rule (A player of the defending team kicks the ball from any point within the penalty area. Opponents must retreat to their own half until the ball is in play. The defending team does not have to wait for the opposition to retreat and has the option to restart the game before should they choose to).
Cup format = top 2 teams in each group will qualify for semi-finals. Winner of each will play in the final.

KNOCK-OUT & LEAGUE CUP BASIS

Group standings will be decided in following order – points gained, head-to-head, goal difference, goals scored, penalty shoot out
In the event of 3 or more teams being tied for points head to head will be between the 3 teams. The same logic will be used but only including the matches BETWEEN the tied teams. Other results will be ignored.
Penalty shoot out will consist 5 kicks per team. Only players on the pitch at the end of the game are allowed to take a penalty. In the event of a tie after 5 kicks it will go to sudden death
